May can't get here fast enough. Can't wait to see upgrades, test pizza.

I don't envision going east much, just seems too crowded for me, but if we do your place will be on the must visit list. Looks great!

Thank you, B & J T. :)

lol, well I don't know about all of that, but we're sure looking forward to seeing you, Mary Beth, Barcelona & Billy!

Cut in 2 more sites. I think we'll put a tiny home or travel trailer on one site for folks who want to camp but don't have an RV. The other we will set up for Class A, B or C rigs.

Also widened the exit road several feet, a decision that was made last year after watching John and his 45' Entegra pulling out. :)

Thanks for the extra couple of feet, didn't mean to alarm you. I cheated to the uphill, it was uneventful.

Got a break in the rain so this afternoon we split and stacked some firewood in the campgrounds new woodshed.

Did some sanding and applied a couple of coats of stain. Also added a 4'x8' section for the Argentinian-Style Wood BBQ (assuming we go that way) to sit so it won't infringe on the seating area. Still have to put the rails around the cooking area but it is just too darned cold out there today. Besides, we have to go to town for supplies for the Super Bowl tonight. Go Bengals! :)

This is beautiful work, Jim. What it is the state of the internet connectivity?

Probably insufficient for your needs MapNerd. I purchased the best plan that ViaSat offers, but that only gives us 150 gig a month, or basically 5 gig a day to be used between the guests in the park. Every guest has at least 2 devices, and with an average of 2 guest per site, that's not much data.

To stretch that out over a 30 day period, I have to limit bandwidth to a crawl. You can check emails and get some VOIP calls, but that's about it.

I've contacted our governors office so many times it's ridiculous. I've begged Verizon, I've filed complaints with the FCC, I've contacted our Senator (who actually lives in our town), I've contacted our house representative, and I've offered to pay Balsam West 150K to run fiber from the trunk (about 1.5 miles from the park) but all to no avail Basically, I've run out of options.

So until Starlink becomes available, and they're way behind schedule for a number of reasons, I only have ViaSat to fall back on.

It's very frustrating.
