$150k to run fiber 1.5 miles? Seems like someone screwed up. I’d go back to them. Go to a store and ask for the district manager. Ask the DM for the regional manager. $150k to run fiber 1.5 miles is a solid profit.

Yes, solid profit. And the neighbors and myself would have become instant customers at whatever they charge a month for their service. It was a no-brainer as far as we were concerned. Had it worked out with two of my neighbors to split the costs but BW said no.

The problem is that BW is working BIG jobs from people that are putting in subdivisions on the other side of the county. Our little 150K was peanuts to what they are getting from the other guys. And at the end of it all, I would have given them 3 new customers, the subdivision gives them 100's.

So I get it. I don't like it, but I get it.

Hmm, wonder what's on those pallets? :)

OK, I called them again this morning. They had me fill out an online form and then a fellow called a bit later. He said they will send someone out to look at my park and see what is involved.

So we'll see.

Hint #1. Six pallets in all, each weighed in excess of 2,000 lbs.
Hint #2. Wasn't doggie treats.
