As per your link, the mining industry has not been problematic. And chile uses slave and child labor.
Just suggesting that lithium is not a clean energy. As per your link, the mining industry has not been problematic.
Are you suggesting we stop using lithium in products?
Humor aside, it could be used as a hot water heating source too. We could do away with OASIS hydronic heaters and another diesel burning source.RV's with nuclear powered engines will sure be nice over 605 HP diesel engines! And you won't even need to heat the bedroom living so close to your reactor![]()
The problem comes in trying to adapt nuclear power to the auto industry. As far as I know all "nuclear" power currently uses a reactor to generate steam, which in turn powers the propellors on a ship, or generators in a power plant. So, autos would need to carry a large container of water to convert to steam to provide motive power. The other alternative would be to use the radioisotope supplies that NASA, and others, have used to powe deep space probes - I don't know how much power they generate currently - would it be enough to power a vehicle?Nuclear power is far better than any other source.
Now you're talking.
