Hello...

Does anyone have a listing of credit unions that loan on Salvage/Refurbished titles? I believe I saw an article last September that listed 5 of them, but of course can't locate it. I know one was a credit union in which you had to be a resident or Alaska, Washington, or Oregon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As an old Credit guy, there is no reasonable way to value a salvage/rebuilt vehicle nor justify a value at a Credit Committee.
The loan might be considered a personal loan at best. Insurance might also be hard to come by and you would have to jump through hoops to register such a vehicle.
