Describe your ideal and favorite campground and site

We are retired Air Force so we also like the campground on the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and the park in Monterey at the Naval Post Graduate School . Both are great parks with military rules and you better adhere to them. We have not stayed at any one park for more than a week but one can never tell when the time comes.
Went to Oregon at stayed there no far from Crater Lake with beautiful Redwood trees all around us but not very private. Next come Washington State right on the ocean.

West view RV park in southwestern co. Just outside of Cortez co. fits just about all you want. Beautiful club house, paved roads concrete pads, large sites with grass. Check out there web site.

All of the Oregon State Parks we have staying in on the Oregon Coast are great. Electric and Water at site, no sewer hookup but dump stations at the park entrance/exit.

I can only dream about a site that the parking pad is flat, level and on the same plane as the patio pad. But the ultimate would be that on the driver’s side, there is a short wall that retains the parking pad, but allows that there is a lower walking strip so getting into the storage bays is much easier (under the full wall slides). I’m thinking a section lowered by 8 to 12 inches, and about 3 feet wide. Dream on.
