The chassis is a 2022 Freightliner M2 Detroit. Yes it's strange. Unless I'm looking in the wrong place for the connector. What year is your RV? The reason I ask is that I was told that, generally the flat, 4-pin plugs were used on Freightliner chassis prior to 2016 and thus were analog sensors that measured tank level and temp but didn’t measure the Urea % (required by EPA on 2016 and later chassis). These versions of analog sensors can not use the DSS fix, as the DSS is strictly digital.
So you if you have a pre-2016 units you should not need a DSS…and probably have a low risk of failure.
Hope this helps.

Yep. Right above where the def head is located and all the lines are situated.Doh! You did say that…. Maybe looking in the wrong place? Are you looking at the top of the DEF unit?
Been in touch with Matt Jeffries. He confirmed that it's a Detroit proprietary def system. He had no suggestions. If I can find the connector will the DSS work? ThxJust to be clear, you actually followed the cable from the point that it came out of the top of the DEF Head? It’s pretty busy in there with the four hoses that are attached to the DEF Head, cable ties, etc. I’ve never seen a DEF head that only had an electrical cable a few inches long but this is a different chassis.
That's what I'm hoping for. I'm pretty sure we can figure it out. It's just so tight in that area and my brother in law is a big ol boy. I will probably do the testing with his tutelage. What's your next unit gonna be? Thanks for all the help.Yes that is very similar to pre 2016 units but it plugged directly into the top of the header - no pigtail from the header
