There are 2 Trips on the digital computer. I use Trip A for the entire journey, and Trip B for the current tank.
I switch to Trip B and reset it when I fuel, and the DTE shows a value that is very low. When I switch it to Trip A, it gives a more accurate number based on the entire journey.
Eventually Trip B will match the DTE of Trip A, but that is after 100 miles or so.
If I reset Trip A, then it will be the invalid data for a while.
