I'm new to this forum and totally new to RV life. I live in western NY and would like to buy a camper trailer and keep it permanently in a campground somewhere near Frisco Colorado, or at least that general area. I just want an affordable place to vacation to during my upcoming retirement, maybe a few weeks in the summer, and a few weeks in winter, and a place for my adult children to stay during ski trips.

Anyone have experience with this area, or this idea in general ? Do any campgrounds have "permanent" and affordable RV sites to park a camper and leave it year round? We just basically need a place to have our hats. Thanks !!! Todd A

From what I see there are no campgrounds in the area that don’t belong to the gov and there seasonal. I was there many years ago and when you get several feet of snow I don’t think you want to be in a trailer. We loved Frisco when we’re were there to ski Copper Mtn. And others. We just stayed at a bed and breakfast and it was great.
