Here's another one for the forum. New to me 2018 Tiffin. Noticed a small hole at the far end of the awning. Seems to be from a branch that the previous owner hit while pushing the button from the inside, and not paying attention. Other than that, the black cloth like awning is perfect. I was thinking a piece of awning tape over the top, and grabbing the wife's hot glue gun to fill in the hole to keep from fraying. Thoughts?

I might try an iron on patch on both sides matching color as best as possible.

Much depends on the fabric. Fabric glue will do the trick as far as unraveling goes. Personally I think the hole would look better than a patch, but that is my view.

While you're contemplating patches! I thought about @Neal so if you wanted swag and needed to hide something, here is the patch idea for you!!!

There appears to be lots of options from Awning specific tapes

To Gorilla Tape

Thank you everyone. I'm going to slap on a piece of Gorilla tape top and bottom when we get home.

I have used tape in the past for repair. It will work for you. Duct tape comes in a variety of colors these days.

I would use an iron-on patch on both sides, many colors to choose from.
