Just got home with a new to us Newmar Super C 2022 4061. Wanting to learn how best to use it. A little concerned with engine acceleration trying to merge onto freeway. Seems to have more power in cruse control than using accelerator. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the SuperStar family.

We have the same year and model we picked up the end of December. There are a few of us on here with Newmar Super C’s so any questions just reach out.

Since we were coming from a class c gas model the merging actually seems better to me when driving the new one.

Thanks for replying. I am beginning to think I am not understanding the transmission or there is a problem. It does not shift, stays in a high gear, hence the slow build up of speed. Now to find a solution.

Should downshift if you put the pedal to the floor.

Takes some getting used to coming from nothing but gas vehicles.
