Just to clarify, WIX is still available from Oreillys and others. NAPA has decided to part ways with WIX.

Since Mann/Hummel bought WIX, service (order fulfilment) has gone done hill. When the plandemic hit, being a German owned company, they went from bad to worse as German government went lock step with shutting down their country.
NAPA had enough, and has partnered with other manufactures to supply quality filters to their stores. The map below shows what brand filters will be sold in those different regions. Some regions will still be WIX for now as Baldwin and Donaldson ramp up to supply NAPA their filters.
PART NUMBERS WILL NOT CHANGE.
Packaging, labeling, and product look will not change.
They will still look like NAPA GOLD as they always have.
Regions NOT being serviced by WIX (on the HEAVY DUTY) line, will be selling Air Filters made by Donaldson, Fuel, Oil, And Hydraulic Filters will be supplied by Baldwin.
It's sad that a foriegn company bought a Strong Premier U.S. companay and striped it down, and will probably go bankrupt or sell off different parts, that will be the demise of Wix/NAPA Gold as we know it. Greed has repercussions.

interesting developments. Most of the filters I buy these days are OE but I like having Napa as a back up source. Their prices seem to have gone up though and in some cases are far more than Ford and Freightliner.
