We recently put a down payment on a Newmar all Electric motorhome. Our last one had propane for cooking and heat. I don't miss worrying about a propane leak nor sitting on top over a very large propane tank but does anyone have issues with their all Electric coach?
The one we ordered as 640 amp hours of LiIon batteries and a diesel generator.

What could go wrong...:)

I think you made a good choice. I like cooking with gas, but the stove top is my only gas appliance and even so I have a huge heavy propane tank that could also support a fridge and furnace. I’ll probably just install a small tank when the big one finally runs out (some day) so I can keep my propane cook top (upgraded stainless model), but I could easily live with all electric and if you add some solar and it becomes a very sustainable system.

Ours is all electric, so far nothing to complain about. I was a little concerned at first if I would like the induction stove. That has worked out great.

Agree!

We too have that huge propane tank only for the gas stove top. At our current use rate that tank will last another 7-10 years. Would love to have that propane tank space available as storage instead.

Good choice on all electric. Depending on your love of dry camping, might want more battery and or solar, unless you don’t mind running generator every day.

Ours is all electric (except for those two diesel thingies). I miss propane about as much as I miss having Covid.

With the caveat that we’ve only had ours a couple months…..

Wife loves the induction cook top. She hated using the propane stove in our previous one. The fact that we can unplug it and use outside is a bonus.

We have had to turn on the heat on diesel one night (weather nice in Florida) 😀. It is really nice and worked much better than the propane furnace.

All in all I would not want to go back to propane.

We're really good with all electric. If boondocking we need to run the generator 2.5-3 hrs in the morning and 3 at night while not cutting down on TV, Computer, etc use (naturally w/o heat pump or Oasis furnace use). I do recommend upgrading if Newmar still offers the Whirlpool convection/microwave. Our 2020 version doesn't do well while using the convection feature. Frustrates the DW when baking

What’s not to like! DW would like to have a gas stove as she is a serious cook but on the whole, you can’t beat the all electric/diesel Newmar system.
