Factor in your transportation modes once at a destination. Sometimes a truck large enough for towing is overlarge when going for groceries or errands. I see it over and over again with people that cannot handle a huge truck in the parking lots. With a motorhome towing, the towed vehicle is what you putts around with.
On the flip side, I always question the people with a relatively small class C towing a pickup truck that could easily tow a similarly sized trailer. To me that's just giving yourself an additional powertrain to maintain that you don't really need.
