I did bacon this morning yep close the lid and ends up in a pile. Left lid up and was controllable

Ninja looks good, but I'll stick with my Akorn smoker/grill, I have a big green egg at home, this is a small egg, it's in my comfort zone, when this passes over to the grill graveyard, I will convert to ninja

Tonight was chicken breast, sliced into strips about 1.5" wide, wrapped with bacon. Cooked in record time (nothing new there, right?) and was scrupdidlyuptious. :)

Bacon-wrapped chicken sounds delicious. I think we all assured you not to turn your back too long, and I have almost decided low is the only setting unless I'm smoking, baking, or air frying.

I normally use medium and the thermometer when cooking.

You got it right @Jim about using temperature to cook rather than time.

I did cook a Wagyu tomahawk steak on low after searing each side on high for a minute. Came out great.

I've been wondering how that steak came out since I recommended cooking like any other thick cut.

I was going to respond - thanks for the suggestion on cooking on low.

Was really thick and had to put it back on for like a minute each side once we cut it in the middle.

Got a good couple meals out of it 😊

Yeah, I did take pictures using my trusty Kodak Disc camera. Unfortunately, the film was expired, the flash cube jammed, and the 1-hour photo booth up by the Kmart burned down in '97. I would’ve used my Polaroid, but the last pack of film got turned into a drink coaster up here at the RV park.

I guess I could have fallen back on my camcorder, but it’s still rewinding the VHS tape from Ryker’s 3rd birthday. Technology, great when it works. . .

That’s what you get for doing VHS instead of Betamax - it was better technology 🤣
