Folks,

I am in the process of converting to Lithium batteries. I'll be removing the lead acid and then building a housing for the Lithium in the existing house battery area.

If I need to move the RV before I have the lithium installed does anyone foresee issues I would have not having the house batteries installed. I'll be taking all the precautions of isolating power terminals to ensure positive / negative terminals don't short.

Thanks

I don't see an issue but also consider turning the inverter breaker off in your breaker panel.

Yes - good point. Everything disconnected (AC power), batteries disconnected and main breakers (AC & DC) turned off.

Thanks

Actually...here's what I do...

ME-RC....Inverter OFF, Charger OFF, Salesman Switch House Store Position...

Solar, If installed, isolate/OFF

Positive for inverter...disconnect. (else you can fry ME-AGS, ME-BMK).

Battery Bank Negatives...disconnect.

You can remove everything now. Your AC power is in Pass-Thru Mode...ie...Fridge keeping beer cold, microwave will let you prep lunch...microwave light still works...LED pucks do not...except for two over cockpit seats. They are on Chassis battery. We keep our fridge stocked...so, this is much easier.
