We bought a 190 Popular new in July 2008. The VIN indicates it was made in 2007. In the plumbing compartment, there is a hand cut off valve on a pipe between the water heater and water pump. However, the pipe is not connected to either the heater or the pump..
We have looked through both the 2007 and 2008 manuals, but found no mention or photos of the valve. We have included a photo of the valve taken from above. Does anyone know the function of the valve?

Possibly some sort of bypass. Winter Antifreeze bypass? Flush?

In the pic, it appears there's an elbow at the top of the valve, that looks like it dives through the floor. Maybe a low point drain, or a method to drain the system? I had a similar valve on my old Jayco TT.

I guess we need to know where the line terminates can you get a pic
