Want another 1984 Ford Escort diesel.

50 mpg around town even while filled with firewood.

Between 65 and 70 mpg on the highway.

Sat outside in upstate New York winters and never failed to start.

One reason we will hold on to the 2018 Ford for a while. 😎
You really think that truck doesn't have enough onboard electronics for someone to disable it if they want to?

Luckily I have access to the electronics through a OEM grade analysis tool. It would be a hard fought battle….🤣

The coral was fenced quite a few years ago (cash for clunkers), now they only need to close the gate!!! Older cars are hard to find today because people could not see the intent.
And cash for clunkers was a major disaster to the working poor because they could not find vehicles they could afford.

as much as I’d like an old mechanical diesel to satisfy the Prepper in me, the available storage space just will not allow yet another vehicle.
Gail has strongly disliked every diesel I’ve owned over the years, hoping she can accept the DP into the fleet.
The 300Ds are just too much work to keep running, maybe an old diesel Rabbit someday.
