On the first trip of the season in our Freedom Express 248rbs, I watch the power fade from the stereo and fridge as the battery failed. While plugged into shore power, I bypassed the converter which was apparently the issue. I replaced the converter, bought a new battery and replaced 2 x 40 amp fuses which were blown. Everything works again except the stere, usb port and sofa cup holder lights (I’m guessing all on same line). I replaced the 15 amp fuse, even though it tested good. All breakers are good, nothing tripping. What do I try next?

That’s strange indeed. Electricity is not my specialty one bit but I wonder if maybe there is a on-board fuse on the stereo possibly. I doubt it but who knows.

Gonna have to start at the end (stereo) and work your way back to find out where the problem(s) lie. Might find a different fuse in a place not expected. Let us know what you find.
