Now, I am losing propane.....

My Sunlite MJ13 has a Propane Water Heater and Furnace. I have two burners on countertop but never use it. I know this wierd, but I don't use the shower because I find it too small. So the only reason I turn on the switch to heat water is to wash dishes. I am staying in it for work 4 nights per week. We had a cold night (Monday), and I went to warm the inside, yesterday morning with the furnace and Gas Bottle was empty. I went and swapped it out the put the refill bottle in place and turn on the gas yesterday evening. This am, 1/2 of the propane is gone and overnight I didn't use the furnace nor the water heater. I don't smell and propane inside the camper. This started suddenly yesterday or the day before. One other thing, I always close the valve at the bottle in the am when I leave to go to work or when I go home for the weekend. In other words, when I am not there, I turn both the gas and water off at the respective valves. I had a hose bust one because water pressure was way to high.

Could something have failed with either the furnace or water heater to cause gas to leak out.....?

Your propane is going somewhere. First the dumb question. Do you see any changes in the propane level when it has been shut off. If you can't smell propane inside, start at the bottle and spray a soapy water solution on the lines with special attention to any connections. Good luck.

Yeah, I plan to stop by Dollar General am pick up a small spray bottle...

Also, pay close attention to where your lines go through a bulkhead or wall
