One thing I've noticed on my 2023 New Aire is that after the rig sits parked for several weeks, it squats so low that the exhaust pipe on my Oasis plants its opening right into the gravel, basically blocking it. Last year that cost me a new nozzle even though I had a full service to it just a few months before (I had forgotten to turn off the Oasis burner at the SilverLeaf panel after I parked the rig).

Only reason I mention this is my rig is parked for the winter at my house and I noticed yesterday the Oasis tailpipe starting to burrow itself into the gravel (level gravel drive) and then verified I had indeed turned off the burner. I start the engine every few weeks just so it doesn't sit the entire winter and that also raises the rig back up several inches from this low squatting position.

Anyways, just something I add to my visual checklist anytime I walk around the rig or go to exercise the generator (its tailpipe sits just a tad higher, but when low enough I still start the rig to raise it).

Best,
-Mark

Interesting…my ventana does not sit that low. I still have a few inches between the pipe and the ground.

Why don't you use the leveling jacks?

Why don't you use the leveling jacks?
I don't like to leave the rig on them for long periods of time, exposing the push rods to the elements unnecessarily. That said I do extend them at times and retract them later in storage to keep the seals lubricated.

Can you alter the exhaust pipe to NOT aim down?
Our Oasis exhaust pipe is horizontal.
I could cut part of the end off the pipe so the opening is sideways vs facing downwards. The pipe itself does run horizontal under the rig. New Aire's squat pretty low. I've heard some complain about door steps binding in New Aires after they have sat for a while, but I don't have that issue.
