Elli will be potty trained before going to AK! No way am I going outdoors on that trip!A word of caution on the wild life. Don’t think you’re safe pulling over at a rest stop. We pulled over and Twila took the dogs out so they could duet her business. The door to the RV was facing away from the road. When Twila and the dogs got back in, I looked in my rear view mirror and a grizzly bear came from across the Hwy and went behind the Rv to the other side. He wasn’t more than 15 ft from the RV. Now I don’t think he was after Twila or the dogs, but it would have been a surprise for everyone.
I hope they don't keep you long but if you are stuck in the Seattle area for a while there is a few good places around worth visiting. The Museum of Flight can keep you busy for a whole day. Pikes market is an interesting place. A ride up the Space Needle will give you a good view of the harbor.Down in Tacoma WA. waiting to get my new ac in the rv at Camping World. What a packed place. Culture shock after leaving Alaska, British Columbia, and the Yukon. Camping World has a 7ft high 7000 volt electric fence around it. Wow.
We took a break from clocking so I went and got 2 bacon cheeseburgers, 2 fries, 2 large drinks. $50.00!!!!

Yeah Little America is a bit on the pricey side and a busy place, but the take-out from the restaurant is good and they have ample fuel there and friendly staff. We left Woodburn Oregon on the 4th of July and went north on I5 through Portland to I84. While going through Portland I saw a lot of Graffiti everywhere, cars abandoned, stripped and graffiti painted on them. I never saw that much stuff in a town and not cleaned up! Crazy.
We ended up in a little town called Caldwell Idaho in a campground called Country Corners. Very well kept with thick green grass. Had to have in Idaho. Anyway it is owned by a family of Samoans. Very nice and welcoming.
Now we’re in Wyoming. We’re staying at “Little America”. No grass in any of the rv spots, just at the ends for a dog walk. A little expensive but I wanted the buffalo burger at their restaurant and a drink. On the way back I looked into one of the shower rooms for the Rv’ers. Wow! A carpeted sitting room, closet to hang your new cloths. And a bathroom with huge shower.
We were gone about 6 weeks. A lot of driving. Like a kid, I wanted to see it all, but you just can’t. LolGlad you are home safe and Mom is good. Were you gone for two months? You had several things go wrong but 10,000 miles puts it in perspective.
