Who is going to get one of these (too)? Can you imagine getting around campgrounds on one of these? Walking dogs? Going to get the mail?

I’ve already seen them at multiple campgrounds. Looks fun.

I'm getting back into flying and people use these to get around airports as there can be a lot of walking from a parking spot to the office, hangar, etc. They are also fun when camping (from airplanes) as I've seen on YouTube and I can see using these at RV camping too. What I tell myself when I see people on these is "you should be walking" for exercise and/or riding your bike (also good exercise) so I hate these things for the anti-exercise aspect but it looks like fun. These do not use the battery type that have had the fire issues in other hoverboards.

It's on my list to get but waiting for a sale, black friday, etc. No need for it now.

A few years back I remember getting pumped about the Icon A5 airplane. Looked like a pretty sweet little plane for quick day or weekend trips.

Yeah, those days are well behind me I’m afraid. My last excursion into fun wheeled stuff was inline skates. Got a scoped knee from that, and nearly run over by a car.

Already had my share of broken bones! Going to let the youngsters (like Neal) play with these toys...I'll watch.

My center of gravity seems to have lowered, maybe I should reconsider...

Need to book a stay at Jetty Park... Ron Jon’s Surf Shop is a dealer...and in range of the campground. I see a lot of the one wheels in the beach there. Probably a good spot to learn. The beach has very few obstacle dangers, and the sand will break your fall.

I watched a few YouTube videos on OneWheel which I don't think OneWheel is happy to have out there. Theme was "how to kill yourself on a OneWheel" i.e. tremendous fall hazard, forward, so collar bones, arms, wrists, etc. Going to just leave this as a thought for now but it's a NO at this moment.

The key word is "break".

This is how I get around in the campground. :)

I guess I should say...Brake? It is apparent what really came to mind.

I’d be stupid enough to try it...but I’m married. You know...having a more intelligent person tell you what your good conscience is supposed to but doesn’t.

Ummm no. And talk about some overpriced "thing" - OneWheel pricing is crazy. The issue is going off the front side. Show me OneWheel airbags and I'll consider. Then again as I'm feeling like the pillsbury dough boy right now I may have built in protection.

I think Neal will be easy to recognize in the campgrounds. He is the guy pulling the 48 foot trailer, full of gizmos and gadgets, behind his rig. :coffee::coffee:

Or the one in crutches!
