Odd deal here. Went out to do th monthly run on the generator and engine (V10, gasser) on my 2019 Tiffin Open Road. While the generator was running, and after MH engine started, the battery light came on in the dash. The MH cranked right up. Prior to starting, Spyder panel read 12.9V for chassis battery. When the engine was running, voltage was as high as 14.9V. Water level in battery is good, connections are clean and tight. Any ideas??

Think this is resolved. i had the generator running at the same time I had the chassis engine running. Apparently, two charge sources must cause a warning light as no light comes on when only the chassis engine is charging the chassis battery. go figure .....

Very comp;ex, these fancy machines. Hopefully, you will be fine. Nice rig.

14.4v is normal voltage, 14.9 is overvoltage. Just because both gen and engine are running together is not a reason for the problem.

I would run each by itself and find the one that is to blame and have it fixed.

Only time 15 volts is acceptable is during battery equalization. Such condition can destroy the battery.
