Noticed our Propane Detector green light was not on. Found I have no 12V power to the detector. No other 12 volt issues in the coach. Could not find a fuse for it. Pulled the wires out from the wall as far as I could and no fuse. Checked my fuse diagrams and nothing listed for the detector in any of the panels so I am at a loss.

I will replace the detector with a new one as this one is 6 years old but need to get the power restored first.

Anyone have a suggestion?

TIA

In my coach there is an on/off switch above the door for it.

I don'thave propane so we do not have detector. Two things can cause them to act up. One is a bad battery in the house side. If one present, the charger runs more often, and they get (batteries) hotter, the additional volts/amps cause the propane detector to get a spurious voltage spike and sends it off, happened to us and could not figure out untl friend told me his story. Turns out had one bad battery in bank, just changed all 4 (5th wheel at time), never had issue with outher coach. And they have about a 6-10 year life if I remeber, replacement is cheap, and not a big deal to change. most likely can get a similiar model to fit the space. I tried changing it, to no avail, so the battery being bad was my problem. Real fix cost more than replacing unit..
