This will be my first time storing an RV for the winter. It'll be stored outside (under a cover) and I'm not sure what to do with the propane tanks. Leave them on the trailer (turned off and disconnected), remove them from the trailer or does it really matter which way I do it? TIA
 
I prefer to keep my bottles on. When de-winterizing I know I have a leak if one of them is empty.
 
We've owned 6 tow behinds over many years and have always just closed the valves during outside winter storage. Never had a problem.
