Rear bath faucet cycling on water pump

I use a Remco 55AQUAJET-AES water pump. Any idea why my rear bath faucet cycles like this? The faucet was replaced with a Moen so it's not the factory cheap faucet.

I’m guessing that your controller needs adjustment or replacing. If the pressure is not adjusted correctly, you will get pulsing like that.

It's only on this one faucet. Shower is fine, washer is fine, kitchen and half bath are fine. I think it's the long pex run and pressure demanded. Waiting to hear back from Remco as well as I sent this to them.

Is there a flow restricter in the new faucet? Maybe you need one.

Not that I'm aware of, just your typical aerator.

Looks like the back pressure is on the borderline, and makes the pressure switch cycle? Open another faucet and this one, and see if it will continue to do the same thing?

Remco told me to do the same, open another faucet and all works fine. Waiting to hear back and see if there is any fix.

Small DC pumps have been been my business for 20 years ??

Your new installation must have restriction somewhere? look around for kinks in the hose, some extra screens in the faucet etc.
If that fails, you may adjust the pressure switch a bit high or low until the cycling stops.
BTW did you try it on city water with pump off. That will give you another reference point by reading the gauge on the pressure regulator.

Our new 2020 DS does the same thing. 2017 didn’t. Pressure on 2017 was good without the pump for showers, same can’t be said for 2020. Struggling with what to do besides complain to Newmar. I do run the same regulator set to 55-60 psi as I did before so it a new coach issue.

I’ll try the opening of second faucet and see what happens.

I wander if they reduced the size of the plumbing lines, or started installing water saving faucets and shower heads etc?
For the pump to pulse, it means something is restricting the output. Just like leaving a faucet dripping. You will hear the pump come on and off every few seconds.
On our coach I opened the end of all faucets and removed all restrictors except one screen. Same in the shower head.

I think the problem is the rear sink isn’t demanding enough pressure as if you had a faucet only turned on half way.

Neal, try taking the aerator off the faucet and look for a thin brass plate that has a small hole in the center of it. That would be your flow restrictor. You might be able to get by with removing it or you could drill the hole out to make it flow more.
