My Dodge can pull 30k lbs, but only has a 1200watt power inverter!
 
My Dodge can pull 30k lbs, but only has a 1200watt power inverter!
Airstream is only 6,100 empty after pulling out all the propane stuff. Did not realize how heavy propane systems were. The all electric conversion is much lighter than a propane fired RV when lithium batteries are in the mix. F-150 can only pull 18k (I should come in around 14k) but it uses both the eco boost V6 and the electric motor together so it has a lot of torque.
 
Now I am reading about the tail light indicator for payload weight Ford has put in the F150....man Ford is really innovating!

Yup, Ford decided to put all their advanced technology into the F-150. Waiting for the self driving software update. My truck has the hardware but BlueCruise software update "coming any day".
