My understanding is that Starlink will show the location of the Starlink land site where the satellite is beaming back your signal.
 
Any Starlinkers want to share what they see for their location we can get some data points. I’m just TClod’s search engine.
 
Alva, FL - 17:55 hrs - Gen 2, Starlink router. 39mbps. Kinda sucky, but serving my needs for the moment.

I have no idea where Starlink thinks I am. But, I accidentally checked the speed again and now it's showing 159mbps. Go figure!

I know that seemed like I was trying to be funny, but seriously, Starlink's map shows me being just off the coast of Africa. Go figure?
 
Shows I'm in Dallas, 250 miles north of where I think I am.

When I search for the nearest Home Depot, it directs me to one of HD's in Dallas.
