I would order now. Lead times are long. You get an email when.your ready to activate, and that is when you pay for the satellite receiver.

You can cancel your order at anytime and get a full refund.

It's better to be in line now.
Ordered

This morning we just stepped outside the house and watched the next 50 satellites go up.
Amazing how fast they are being built and launched.

Current rocket launches can take up to 60 at a time (depends on if they are carrying other paying customers at the same time). Once they can start using the new larger rocket they have stated they will be able to take up to 400 at a time.
As I understand, they have 2 limiting factors right now;
1) Need more satellites in the air to provide coverage density
2) Chip shortage is limiting their ability to manufacture the dishes
New rocket will have a dramatic impact on the first factor. Chip shortage, that is anyone best guess.
Very interested in this and have been following for a few years.

You guys are going to break me yet………ordered

I ordered my Starlink in February and it arrived a couple of days ago. I lucked out in that I have a great, unobstructed view from a spot on my property without needing a tower to mount the dish on. The Dishy is now installed on a post and is delivering ~100-300 Mbps download speeds with latency in the ~25-60 ms range. Interuptions have been mostly unnoticeable. This morning there's some weather in the area and I wouldn't be suprised if the slight increase in interruptions have resulted from this.

The app says that obstructions have amounted to ~1 minute in the past 12 hours. I can live with that. When streaming off of Netflix or other streaming services the interruptions aren't noticeable because they have, so far, been less than the buffer capacity. On live TV (YouTube TV) twice this morning they have resulted in pauses of 15-30 seconds.

One thing I should note is our location in Coastal TX; just east of Corpus Christi.

I ordered mine February 23 and I just got an email saying that it would not be available until Mid 2022. I live in East Texas. I am looking for satellite internet. My job will not allow me to use mobile data, hotspot or any phone carrier services. I have to use wired or satellite for my job. Any suggestions appreciated.

I made two orders, one for myself and one for Deer Springs RV Park, both in NC. Haven't heard diddly on either one. My life sucks . . . :-(

I ordered 3. My Montana one was supposed to arrive in October, but has been delayed.

My Texas and Florida ones are delayed until mid 2022.

My application for beta testing the mobile one has had no further updates.

I mean, how would they know? Unless your employer is paying for the service plan, I can’t imagine how they would be able to tell.
