My 2019 Ventana 3407 has a "sticking" fan in the bathroom and can't seem to come up with the fix. It operates just fine all the time EXCEPT when someone is using the shower and there is an accumulation of steam in the bathroom. It will not open and requires I turn the thumb screw to get it open. Within an hour after finishing it returns to normal. I'm thinking a shot of WD40 might do the trick but wondering what is the cause and the permanent fix. Really looking to avoid disassembly if possible. Thanks all!

Is it possible it has a moisture sensor? If the shower gets steamy, we have to over ride it by pressing and holding the up/down button until a little red light comes on….then it will open.

Have you tried bypassing the rain sensor?

If it is the same as ours, hold the close portion of the control for a few seconds and it will beep then you will see a little red light stating bypass.

That will let it operate even with the steam.

Process is the same to turn in the rain sensor again.

update - looks like @Richpatty types faster than I do 😀

Thanks and I will do that. Appreciate the response!
