Anyone know where the subwoofer is mounted in the Dutch Star?? In the features and specs, the Newmar documentation indicates that the following is installed in the 2024 Dutch Star:
  • Dash Radio with Harman/JBL 180 Watt Sound System and Subwoofer
We had a similar system in our 2021 SuperStar and the subwoofer was great.. but in the DS, its either not working or not installed as we are getting no bass at all in the cockpit...

Mine is located behind a panel to the right of the entry steps.

Same here on 2020

thanks guys!! gonna pull that panel off and put on some good country music and see if its working..

So, enquiring minds want to know! What country???

Found the sub.. no controls on it to make any adjustments in crossover or level.. it appears its connected to an amp.. any idea if the amp has any controls on it??

If it does, that fact is well hidden. As is the amp for that matter.

I control all sound levels thru the settings menu on the Xite unit.

I emailed Riverpark... asking for more information.. will let you know what I find out! even at max setting on the Xite interface, the sub is barely putting out anything..

It may be your music selection!!! Quality filters, do make a difference in what a speaker presents to the listeners from each speaker type.
