Truth of the matter is we are well beyond 1984. Almost all electronics , phone, tv, car, refrigerator, etc is collecting data on us. One needs to be hyper-vigilant about all of this “wonderful technology” which is supposed to make our lives better. They would like you to think “resistance is futile”.

Like the Borg, they want us to all assimilate, and become mindless drones.

We've made a HUGE mistake in allowing a country that considers us a political enemy to make any of our electronics (specifically computer components) and import them here. Even a video card could have spyware embedded in it to monitor our activities

Dark slithers in the dark, but the rules they live by require they tell you what they're doing!!! They use movies and media for that.

Back on topic!! Microsoft has been behind most viruses, the reason you can't clean one. The net guy said out of the box! When I installed Linux at the library, unused high-end computers had viruses picked up by anti virus software.
It's not the country it's platform.
