I'm going to miss the Texas roads, they were smooth and wide. Louisiana is a little bumpier. Drove from Weatherford, Texas to Natchitoches, LA today. Stopped at a Blue Beacon truck wash near Shreveport, since I was in a snowstorm the day before in Boise, Oklahoma. Hadn't used one of those before, but for $63 they did a pretty good job. It's been years since I have been in Louisiana and I had forgotten how beautiful the pine trees can be. I'm looking out my window and seeing bright green pine needles. I think I'll stay for awhile.

We were down that way a couple of weeks ago, take a look at Marksville, LA. We stayed at the Paragon Casino RV Park. It's a PA park.
