Nope! But it got eaten up piece by piece by a slew of other guests. Shame too cuz that was a perfect time for someone who wanted to visit the area to find an affordable place to stay. I'll try again next year!

Everyone leaves this morning except Marilyn and me; we leave tomorrow for a week in the Smokies. Jim and Trish have once again been awesome hosts. Until next time, safe travels to all our friends.

Wow, what a great week this was! Lots of food, lots of stuff to drink, awesome company. Learned a bunch about brisket. Smoked a ham on day one, followed by brisket, then taco night, and finished up with a shrimp boil last night.

And just like that, everyone is leaving! Gonna be quiet around here for a few days.

Wow got on the site and everything is almost booked. We just booked site #9 on the wilderness loop. From July 3rd to the 7th.

Its about 750 miles for us.

Always a pleasure to see John (Old Bubblehead) among our very first guests and loyal repeat visitors. True to form, MaryBeth never travels without her sewing obsession, and Deer Springs is happily part of her portable sewing studio. We’re thrilled to share that we’re having a virtual tour created for Deer Springs RV Park! A virtual tour is like an interactive map of the park that you can explore online. It’s made with special cameras that take 360° photos all around our roads, campsites, and amenities. Soon, you’ll be able to:

All the pictures are making me "homesick" to come back. Anyone here going to be Deer Springs Octoberish? We're due there 10/5 for 16 days. BTW, when I saw that beautiful London Aire, I had to do a doubletake. Same paint colors as our DS, only looks a lot nicer!
