Nice Jim! We will see you at some point this year.

Looks like Mrs. Trish got a new ride to shuttle flowers around the park!

Make sure she remembers to be at ride height before extending the slides.😁 That’s a nice ride.

Wow that's a really nice little ride and a heck of a lot of flowers !!!!! Hope I can make it down sometime this year.

Today, I did some work on the new Ste #9 which I will be opening shortly. The majority of the work was completed December of last year, but I still need to "fancy it up" a bit. ;)

So today I built a retaining wall so that Trish has a place to plant flowers and whatever else she has in mind. If you know Trish, you know it will be spectacular! I also transplanted a White Pine to soften up the gouged up mountain. (That's it in the picture.) Site #9 is a (LARGE) pull through site, any size rig OK. (Second picture was taken in the Summer of last year so you know what to expect.) Full hookups, nice long range views, very private site as the nearest camper is 100' away.

I have some "beta testers" bringing in their rig on Sunday. Normally I do the "rig testing" myself, but since the RV Barn was destroyed a month ago, my rig got left in Silver Springs. But it wasn't a problem finding a volunteer. :)

So all-in-all, it's been a pretty good day. Ryker's getting much needed exercise time in the field, I only have 19 days of work left to do before the park opens in 6-days, and I found the glasses I lost last week at the bottom of our pond. Took a while to fish them out, lol.

What a view. If you have not been to Deer Springs RV Park in the Smokey Mountains you must go! Beyond the amazing people, it's a gem of a location.

Getting closer!

The trees still have a ways to go before they green up, but give it a couple more weeks, and it'll be looking mighty fine. Now that things are shaping up, I have a feeling this is going to be one of my more popular spots. It checks all the right boxes:
  • Pull-through site
  • Full hookups
  • Fire pit
  • Large, private area
  • Secluded with nice views
  • Reasonably priced
Basically, it’s what most folks are hoping to find, without needing a treasure map.

That’s about it for now. Buddy’s group (Glampdaddy) will be rolling in soon, and I’m guessing they’ll be expecting everything to look ship-shape, or at least close enough that they won't notice!

Really, really sweet spot Jim. Great job as usual.

Looks great!

@GlampDaddy and his crew rolled into the park yesterday. A couple of Dutch Stars, a Newell, London Aire, a Ventana a Country Coach, all beautiful coaches. Anyhow, early afternoon and the master (Sir Glampster) held a Brisket 101 class in the rain!

I feel I am now ready to forge into the brisket world!

@Jim ... did @GlampDaddy put together a group to take you up on the "stay the month of May offer" from several months ago?
