No, we take the coach down to Monterey, which is not far from our home, each year to have this great crew wash and hand wax it. Two ,or sometimes three of them take all day to do it.

Yes. It is a very basic park, but lots of room. Sites 35 thru 39 have really nice views. We are in 38, really pretty.

Edit:
In order to get a view out the windshield I had to pull in and run the hookups under the coach. No big deal. Jd

We’ll be there beginning mid-May, for six months. Awesome park!

Now I’m craving Brisket. Off to Costco!! :(

Elephant Butte Lake RV Resort... Elephant Butte, New Mexico

I rolled out of the Arizona desert Sunday, where I Wintered after spending 6 months, and started to making my way up to the Rockies. Temperatures were 100+ degrees last week 🔥 so it was definitely time to get up to higher altitudes and cooler temperatures.

I'm traveling through New Mexico and I will be in Elephant Butte, NM for 4 days hanging out with the NKK New Mexico Chile Peppers at their Spring Rally. When I leave here Friday, I will spend the weekend in Santa Fe before arriving on the Front Range of Colorado, where I will hang out spending time with family and friends... Oh, and getting all my medical check ups done... :ROFLMAO:

OhhhhhNoooo! What could be worse?!?!?
Showed up in Frankford KY, all jazzed-up for some serious summer bourbon buying at the Buffalo Trace Distillery. Pulled up to their gate and an armed guard says "Nope, the place is flooded and you ain't gettin' in." Not for the day, but until they get the giant mess cleaned up, flooded bourbon barrels inspected, and the store restocked for ME...their buying public! The distillery is located on the Kentucky River, and the river got all pissed about the serious downpours, and now I'm almost out of Eagle Rare!
And, that's where I am with my Newmar today. :(
