KOA Journey, Needles Ca. Back in California after 7k 2 1/2 month traverse of this beautiful country. Basic rv spot tonight but homemade pizza (sans pineapple) makes the spot where we are staying worthwhile.

What brand pizza oven do you carry with you?

Got away for three days at Avila Beach. In the Harbor District section. Can't afford the new campsites on the hill ($240 night with 4 night minimum). Watched the fishermen, strolled the pier, ate at fat Cats, and caught the Falcon 9 missile launch from Vandenberg. (very) used to seeing them close up, but was happy to see a launch from a new perspective... (the missile is just above the crane)

Hanging out at Ozarks RV Resort on Table Rock Lake waiting for the troublemakers aka @NWIP to arrive. Woo hoo... another RVF encounter.

Old park and power runs hot. I couldn't plug my surge protector into the pedestal. Pedestal did not look well taken care of and after having had my reel blown out before, I always plug another surge protector ahead of the reel. SO I got my big girl AutoFormer out which I was able to plug in. I was happy to have it. My power kept cutting out and I saw 153v come through on one line. Eeeks.

Turns out there is a 2nd pedestal at my site. Still running hot between 124v-126v. And no, the AF is not boosting. Also, you definitely need your water pressure regulator. I have an adjustable one and it went to a 100 psi. Evidently, sites at the bottom of the park overlooking the lake have more pressure.

Regarding WIFI, there is no AT&T cell service, but Verizon works great. I got 139 mbps down and 20.9 mbps up and I haven't connected an antenna on the roof to my pepwave yet. Happy travels everyone!

Really nice spot, view wise. And the Beasties look great!

Stayed at a small-town Harvest Host in Gainesville, TX last night: Krootz Brewery. This morning we were surprised by the Annual Medal of Honor Honorees parade...it was quite the treat! Bands, military vehicles, bikers, Corvette club, a tractor and an awesome horse. Gotta love a small town parade!
