Another one joining the crowd currently at Deer Springs. @lostinfla and @NWIP are also here. Weather is perfect.

Thomas Canyon Campground on NF-660 about 30 miles south of Elko Nevada. No hook-ups, no cell service, but we have empty waste tanks, 100 gallons of water, and plenty of provisions. There’s a paved road all the way in and we have Elon’s creation allowing me to post this. We are here for five days of hiking, bike riding, and just general chillin which is very high on the list of priorities after the last two weeks of fun (not!). We are right by a very pleasant mountain stream and the CG is pretty much empty on this end (event for arts of some sort on the other) so nothing to interrupt our much needed solitude.

We deployed our “Nevada Room” as the sun won’t cooperate for a couple hours

Left our paradise at Deer Springs (Thanks again Jim & Trish!) for Lakewood at Flatrock NC. 12 nights here before service at Gaffney then on to Hoots. Great Verizon and TMobile signal, Dry Falls Brewery & good restaurants near by.

Oh! Kentucky campground just off 75 around Berea KY.

Overnight stop on our way to Florida.

Great Verizon and TMobile home signal.

Easy in and out plus sites long enough we could leave the car hooked up.

MB Roland Distillery in Pembroke, KY (Harvest Host). Our second night after leaving the Newmar International. Good ATT, T-Mobile wifi, and LOTS of bourbon. Now I have to drink more bourbon - can you believe it?

Loves Travel RV stop in Cordele, GA. Same one we stayed at on the way north just off route 75.

Only complaint is when you decide to hammer out extra miles and arrive a day early, they charge you $13 for changing your arrival date.

Should be at our annual spot in Palmetto, FL this afternoon.

Did you have a reservation at Loves?

Did you have a reservation at Loves?
Yes, had a reservation but didn’t like the spot we were going to boondock the night before - so I just powered through and got there a day early.

Just a change of dates on the reservation.

Our spot for the winter at The Tides RV Resort in Palmetto Florida.

Friends of ours gave up the spot so we are now across the street on the lake. They didn’t want the gazebo so that stayed too - score 😀

A get-away weekend at Cava Robles (Paso Robles)...man, saw some really nice units (An Essex next to a King Aire and so on)...best of all we saw a real life "Barbie" at the pool. I would share a picture but, well, my wife didn't think that was a good idea. Cava is a large, well designed, and maintained RV park with a couple (nice) pools.
