Anchor Down is a very nice campground. We scouted it for future use, try for a lakefront site. Scenic drives not to be missed are: Roaring Fork motor trail; Tremont Logging auto tour before you reach Cades Cove, Rich Mountain trail on the right after you are in Cades Cove; and of course Blue Ridge Parkway

Ernie......
Anchor Down fell through so we ended up in Two Rivers Landing RV Resort in Sevierville TN. Beautiful Resort. We plan to visit all the areas you suggested.

Looking awesome @skychs. Is your credit card handy? Check this out...I love this thing:

Neal .... The problem with that accessory is the wife will want to expand and “enclose” the entire area. She hates bugs, especially mosquitoes.

We skedaddled out of the Keys before Eta made her appearance and arrived safely at Lake Norman Motorcoach Resort aka Tiny Home Resort for the holidays. Sadly, Sherrills Ford will be losing this place as an RV Park, as all the sites will eventually be converted to tiny homes. Until then, I am happily settled in for the holidays.

@NWIP beautiful locale and a beautiful coach too. do you ever worry about getting stuck parking on grass?
Yes somewhat nervous about grass but research indicated it was ok. No rain in forecast and pretty solid ground. I have only parked on grass a few times.

Gulf Waters, Ft. Myers Beach

Here for Dec/Jan normally full but with COVID-19 lots of open sites. Not much in the way of organized activities this year.

Moss Landing California for a few days. Monterey is eerily quiet. Almost a ghost town near the Aquarium and Cannery Row. So sad for all the businesses that depend on tourists.

Went to Classic Coach Works yesterday in Ormond Beach FL. Very impressed with the facility and the owners.
Spoke with Alan and his dad about some modifications to the Canyon Star as well as a repair. According to Andy this has been an extraordinarily busy here. The parking area and shop were full when I was there.

Oak River RV Resort - Austin, TX

Tiny home community with mostly RV spaces
CELL AT&T & Verizon are hit and miss depending on time of day. 5G if your phone supports it.
SAT is good depending on your site, quite a few trees in the CG
OTA - not used
WiFi - Tengo Internet provider which I never use so no info there
Have not ventured outside the CG due to covid, keeping things low key

On Dec 24th arrival my site had a bad ground per my autoformer so I called and via the answering service someone called me and told me to pick a site. I chose site 18 as it is on the end and the site next to me has some construction going on so no neighbors and a nice grass area for dawg.
