    WE spent the winter off grid. Our 100 gallon fresh water tank is a blessing. Our 2 50 gallon waste tanks allow us to store all the on board fresh water. Installed a pump to transfer gray water to black water tank. 860 watts of solar maintain our 4 antique 6 volt house batteries.

    Yes, solar still works as it's a charger. It knows float, bulk etc. at least with the Victron I have. In my case the BMS manages all of the charging sources. You configure your solar charger just like you configure your inverter.

    Solar Panel Manufacturer?

    My advice is to consult a professional for verifying what you have and what the solar charger can handle and whatnot. I do not believe you will be getting 2000w of input because it does not go directly to the inverter.
