Or without any mind paid to servicing! All they care about is what makes initial construction faster & cheaper.

My electric day and night shades on my new 2023 need adjusting; even comes with a tool to do so. Problem is Newmar mounted the shades and didn't point the adjustment screws downward so you could access them. Adding insult to injury they then continued to build the cabinets all around them blocking off any access to them short of using a dremel to cut access panels out of the inside cabinet walls. Ugh...

It's not hard to service. If you know what you're doing you can take the wet bay board off and have easy access to anything in there. That is not a hard task but involved and time consuming. You can access the autofill as I did by pulling out the water hose reel, took a little effort but again, not something that needs a mobile tech or factory. We'd love for everything to be easy, let's just be thankful we CAN do things like this on our own.

@Neal did you order the valve from Newmar or use the link that @redbaron sent?

Thanks, since you have experience would you like to come south and change it😳

Seems I have a schedule conflict. Umm when did you want me to come?? Yeah. Conflict.

Are you sure it’s bad? Some have had success in cycling the lever between manual and autofill a few times. Maybe some FOD in the line.

I did all that including banging on valve

Bummer. Hope yours is easier. Put slide in of course.

I scanned through the previous posts. I did notice anyone suggesting removing the valve only to clean the valve. Removal is the toughest part. Once the valve is removed you should be able to take it apart and soak it in vinegar. This will clean the calcium deposits off of the valve components. Hook the valve back up to a 12-volt battery and check for functioning. Vinegar cleaning generally will get the valve back in order.
Fortunately in my vintage BaRTH the valve can be reached with ease. Unfortunately the FULL sensor is not easily accessible. I ask siri to set a time to remind me to turn off the water.

I just want to thank those of you who have gone before me. I am now staring into the abyss.

We've all heard stories and recommendations about turning off water when we leave which none of us do.
I bought one of these and include it on all my water hook-ups. Anytime I leave the coach for more than several hours I turn it off. Easy insurance.

We always turn the water off even when just going for a bike ride around the park etc.

Last year friends of ours were parked next door. Went out and heard water running at 1030 and they were not around.

Long story short their line to the 1/2 bath sink broke and it was running out of every bay door when I heard it.

About $18,000 worth of repairs later, all fixed.

I got on the habit of always shutting it off when we first started 8 years ago.

I thought I would give @rvkev ’s suggestion a go. Unfortunately, my problem appears to be beyond a simple decalcification. New solenoid on the way.
