Has anyone found a relatively easy way to make lifting the bed easier? The DW struggles with it and frankly it’s not all that easy for me either.
 
I have read where some folks have installed a stronger gas strut to make the lifting easier. I've also wondered about installing an electric linear activator like these: Amazon.com : Linear Motion Actuators

This is something that is on my list of things to look into, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

You’re gonna find this hard to believe...but @Dutch Star Don did a mod that added a lift motor and remote control.

Spoiler: Be sure to add a cutoff switch. I’ll let Don explain. ?
