Bedroom direct tv connection

we had a satellite dish installed and the front tv's work fine, the tech told me it isn't wired for the bedroom, but upon inspecting this, I see the exact wiring and switch as in the front cabinet, a switch for groundmount or roof mount, so i get another box from winegard and hook up like the front but it does not work. there is some other cables I hook up and can get a mirror of whats playing up front, but i cant get it working independently. Our last 3 fivers I had direct tv boxes in both areas and they worked fine, independently, Its hard to imagine a 1/2 million dollar rig is not wired for satellite in two rooms. what am I missing

What dish do you have and what box did you get from Winegard? DirecTV or Dish, what receiver?

Got the Road Trip T4 dish and Direct Tv boxes (receivers) all from Winegard, DVR-24's, front one works just fine

Possibly installer did not hook up the 2nd cable (feed to bedroom) at the antenna.

I will check that, too bad Newmar didn't put a ladder on my coach, sure would make it easier

Just a thought based on ours.

Could be a connection in one of the bays as well.

I know on our Superstar all the coax connections are visible in the top of a bay. Had to tighten some of them originally.
