Hi, thanks for reading.

I've recently purchased a 2015 Bay Star with the residential frig upgrade; Frigidaire 10cu with dedicated inverter and two batteries. This frig takes forever to start blowing cold air. I know there is a problem somewhere because when power is applied the lights go on inside and the temp select lights flash, manual says this is error code and to call authorized service.

Strangely enough, we left it on like this because it was working when we saw it and when it was surveyed and we thought it might have a long startup time. Well, at some point the compressor kicks on and the frig is working flawlessly, wonderfully cold. However, it seems to happen every time if left off for a day or more, it can take 3-4 hours to start working but eventually it does.

I'm currently talking with a repair person, they seem reluctant because it's an "RV" frig but I tell them it is 110v residential frig and then they're like, is it accessible?

Anyway, I wondering if anyone has had similar issues with their Frigidaire residential frig upgrade?

Thanks,
Chet

To close the loop, I ended up replacing the Frigidaire 9.9 cu with the latest 10.1cu Frigidaire ($579) that was just a bit taller but slid right in w/o removing anything. I figured the cost to fix would easily exceed 1/3 the cost of new and my Bay Star deserves a new fridge after 7 years service.
