It was -6C (22F) in Billings Montana this morning. It started out clear and bright for our trip to Great Falls. It's about 220 miles so about a four hour drive. Not today. We ran into some blizzard conditions so we arrived about 6 1/2 hours later. See the video (patched 4 clips together) and see pics of our ice coated rig upon arrival. All in all, the drive wasn't too bad but it would have been a lot better if folks driving in bad weather would learn to turn their lights on!

Yikes! 70-80 kph (44-50 mph) on 100% snow covered roads??!!??

Not me!

Glad you made it safely.

I second your opinion of those who don't turn on their lights in bad weather. That's an epidemic where I live. Sometimes they're frighteningly close to me before I see them. That, and the proliferation of super-bright LED headlights that blind oncoming drivers can make driving a hair-raising experience sometimes.

I'm freezing, high only 67 today in AZ southwest.
I would be happy to have 67 today and tomorrow

I don't mind driving on snow. I was born and raised in the mountains of Alberta. There you will find ten months of winter and two months of poor skiing. If you don't learn to deal with snow you may as well not drive. :)
