Planning on going full time RV. No home base or storage building. Nothing fancy or Heirloom quality but a lot of “ trinkets”, used furniture etc. only allowed one garage sale

Has anyone ever used any of the estate sale people. Like “Everything but the house” or any recommendations for some one to plan and conduct a sale getting rid of our 40 years of married “stuff”.

40 years of married "stuff"? It may be cheaper to keep her.

Contact your local real estate companies, those that specialize in auctions and liquidations.

Before you go selling everything off - have you ever lived full time in an RV before, or even for an extended period of time as in several months back-to-back?

It’s not for everyone. If you haven’t done this, I might encourage you to consider renting a storage unit for a year while you hit the road. Then, if you change your mind and discover this is not a lifestyle you enjoy full time, you’re not starting over from square one.

They do a lot of estate auctions around us. I’ve never done one, but have been to a few. They usually charge a percentage of the sale item. If you want to put a reserve price on an item and it does not sell, your still charged a percentage of the reserve.

people do go kind of crazy around here bidding and most stuff “at least to the few I went to” tend to go for more then there worth.
