Hi: for several years I have owned a sprinter van that I had converted using my own design. It has no plumbing but stores all my toys, has an incredibly comfortable bed and allows me to cook. I am in the process of potentially upgrading to a Winnebago Boldt 70BL or KL. I’m nervous that I will not understand how to operate the numerous features it has and that those features may break down regularly. I hope this forum will have some insight into this. BTW, I chose this particular van because I want something 100% usable in the dead of winter and comfortable for trips longer than a month, and boondocking. Lastly, my dog, Stella, goes wherever I go.

Welcome. We look forward to your van life stories. Many are taking this path to get off the grid and escape to great adventures. We hope you'll share your adventures with the group.

Wow, what a nice paint job! Are you the artist?

I actually do a bit of a blog on my Facebook page. Perhaps I will consider putting it here as well.

No, I am not an artist, but it was done by an artist
