Need suggestions to secure a small broken plastic door

A small clip that turns, is what is used on the cover for the propane valve. Can be mounted with a screw.

That could work, but where could I find such a thing? in black, preferably. I'm thinking mirror clip now.

Cheap cabinet locks have different length latches that screw onto the lock. Might rube goldberg something out of one of them. Many selections at big box stores. or online.
