"Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Bites"

Second try at these, and my best batch ever! Cubes of chicken breast wrapped with bacon and covered in brown sugar. Baked at 375* for about 15 minutes. Yum!

NOTE: This was my first time testing out these aluminum pans that I got on Amazon. Just about perfect for the stainless rack to sit on. Sure makes a difference when the bacon starts to drip! No grill clean up and the aluminum pan has a few more uses in it.

OK Ninja owners help me out. I'm planning to jump in to the Ninja world. Would love to hear pro's & cons for the XL Pro "Connect". I had a Pit Boss product that had the "connect" feature and it was basically useless, range was poor and just overall unreliable so I ended up never using that "feature". Looks like I can save a bit of $ to go with a Ninja non connect model but I'd like to have it IF it actually works. Thanks in advance for your input.

Figured I'd check and it looks like the Ninja Outdoor XL is on sale again!

I like the app as not only does it give you notifications but it's far easier to change the cook method, times, etc. rather than figuring out the button pushes and dials, preheat skipping, etc. If you're using a temp probe you can easily monitor temps. I would only get the model that has the app, it's great.

These pellets are a must have as well:

Welcome to the gang club! :)

What Neal said. Setting up the cook much easier from the app.

Plus the XL Connect is larger for more cooking area overall.

We got rid of our Traeger pellet grill once we picked up the Ninja. Much nicer cooking on it.

Just remember to cook by temperature and not time 😊

I believe the other advantage is the XL has two thermometers instead of just one so you can monitor different items.

Wings. Air Crisp at 390* for 40 (+-) minutes. Just love that crispy skin!

I love this Ninja XL. Sirloin 5 minutes a side on low. Oak pellets. Perfection

Has anyone here successfully smoked a Picanha? Jeanette brought one home, now I can’t admit I’ve never smoked one before! 🥵

And so, after getting the gist of other people’s internet opinions, I have a plan.
First, it’s just a piece of dead cow that I intend to enjoy with a bottle of red wine and whatever Mrs A cooks up to go with it.
So, it’s getting some Kinder’s Prime Steak rub, then smoking on the Ninja with pecan pellets at 200 degrees to 122 internal. Then, finishing with some high temp reverse sear to 128.
I’ll report on the outcome later.

And…the verdict. Oh ya, gonna do this again!

More wings! (or legs in this case.)
