And I was a good student and tossed them.

I ordered the Kona 8 pack.

They're the best pellets I've used in anything. Looking forward to your report.

X2 on the Kona pellets. The bags are the perfect size and give you the option to try different types of wood.

Are you saying tofu tastes different depending on the pellets used? ;)

So Ninja users, we (me) seem to be stuck on a few things to cook on the Ninja grill/smoker. So far to date I've done steak, chicken, wings, salmon, and pork chops. What have you done and what can be done that we should venture into? I need to start watching more of CJ or other YouTubers on Ninja cooking and broaden my horizons. I love this thing and need to figure out more things to cook.

Pork Butt for pulled pork.
Pork tenderloin.
Pork Ribs.
Hamburgers.
Salmon grilled and smoked.
Burnt ends.
Chuck Roast.
Brats.

Pork tenderloins
boneless lamb chops
chicken, either thighs or breast meat
salmon
halibut
tuna
swordfish
venison sausage
elk steaks and or burgers
grilled and or sauteed veggies
beef steaks
All good on the Ninja. Temp control (less is better) and rest are a must.

Wow. I better get on the ball. Falling way behind in the cook variety.

He failed to mention tofu and sprouts.

I have found some recipes recently stating "light smoke". I can only think of using wood pellets that aren't as strong. Apple vs Oak for instance. My problem is I buy pellets in large bags and I prefer not to have several large bags to store. Thats my guess anyway. @GlampDaddy will hopefully set use straight.
Jim got it right. I forgot to specify that I was speaking about pellets.

Didn’t see it in the other lists but doing a meatloaf currently on ours.

Normal meatloaf recipe with sausage and ground beef. Smoking first at 185 then will turn it up to finish cooking on the smoke setting still.

Will post pics when it is done. Always loved them when we did them on the Traeger. This will be the first on the Ninja.

Are you willing to share the recipe?

Will do!

Checking the timing for the cook since it will probably be faster than the pellet grill.

Recipe and cooking times etc to follow

Pic after smoke at 185 for an hour.

Turned up to 325 to finish cooking still on smoke setting.

Thanks, I'm cooking ribs today and after cooking ribs on my pellet smoker for 5 or 6 hours, it is hard to get used to it taking less than half that.

Excellent in cooking a rib roast too. Outstanding taste and results.

Update on the meatloaf…

Kona Hickory pellets
185 for an hour smoking
Temp to 325 for about 45 minutes to get to 160 on the ninja temp probe.

Came out great.

For time on the old Traeger I used the above but the 325 portion was for 1.5 hours so about 45 minutes faster on the Ninja.

Normal meatloaf recipe but will post the wife’s later.
